Lobo Fest to host 3 Iranian short films

Three Iranian short titles have been selected to participate at the upcoming edition of the Lobo Fest - International Film Festival in Brazil.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Faceless Faces’ (Sourathaye bi Chehreh) by Hessam Rahmani and Ehsan Shademani’s ‘Bedding’ (Balin) will vie at the fiction short film section of the 11th Lobo Fest.

According to the report, ‘Eternal Expansion’ (Enbesate Abadi) directed by Kamran Dashti will compete at the under 4 minute section of the same festival.

The festival’s main challenge is to present its audience with “a comprehensive global overview of the Cinema Of Now, with a focus on audiovisual pluralism – from short to feature films, comprehending independent productions, the new audiovisual experiments and opening windows for movie-makers outside the commercial circuit and enhancing the new languages,” according to the film festival's submission platform.

The 11th edition of Lobo Fest will be held on November 13-16, 2019.
